For over 14 years, Michael has been producing music and CD’s for Weigh Down Ministries as well as participating as one of the worship leaders at Remnant Fellowship church in Brentwood, TN.
He’s the son of well known author Gwen Shamblin, and lives in Brentwood, TN, with his wife Erin and three daughters Gabriele, Garland, and Gates.
Besides writing worship/hip-hop music, he’s also written an entire full-length musical production called “The Hosanna Symphony”. He calls these productions “Viewsicals” because they're written with a high level of interaction with the screens behind the stage and are designed to immerse the audience in the show.
Michael believes his music is God-inspired and writes for the sole reason of reaching out, glorifying God, as well as encouraging the church.
